We are searching for a dynamic and results-oriented GM and Head of Business Development to spearhead the growth and profitability of our staffing company in the Mid-Atlantic region. This is a unique opportunity for a seasoned leader to leverage their expertise and build a thriving business unit covering Delaware, Maryland, and Washington D.C.

The Role:

In this combined leadership role, you will wear two hats. As the General Manager, you will oversee all aspects of the business unit's operations, ensuring efficient processes and a positive work environment. As the Head of Business Development, you will be the driving force behind revenue growth, building new client relationships, and expanding our market share.

Responsibilities:

  • Business Development:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales and business development strategy to achieve aggressive growth targets
  • Identify, qualify, and cultivate leads, converting them into high-value clients
  • Manage existing client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and repeat business
  • Develop and deliver compelling presentations and proposals
  • Lead a team of sales representatives (if applicable) by providing coaching and mentorship
  • General Management:
  • Oversee all day-to-day operations of the business unit, including recruiting, staffing, payroll, and client service
  • Build and maintain a high-performing team, fostering a strong company culture
  • Develop and implement operational processes to streamline workflow and maximize productivity
  • Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and make data-driven decisions
  • Additional:
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and competitor activity
  • Represent the company at industry events and networking functions

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5-8 years of experience in sales and business development within the staffing industry
  • Minimum 3 years in leadership roles
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and achieving revenue growth
  • Strong business acumen with a deep understanding of financial metrics and profitability
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $60,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
